2019Windows as a social indicator of Eindhoven areas.
As I wander around and discover the city, I enjoy passing through streets where the houses are decorated with stained windows. I have linked these images to the local identity of eindhoven.
These windows are present in the quiet fancy areas where people live in traditional houses made of red bricks. As soon as you leave these neighbourhoods to go to more popular areas,
the environment becomes gloomy, tradition is no longer felt and of course the stained windows are no longer present in the landscape.
The presence of local culture is therefore a social indicator. Access to local culture is essential to the sense of belonging to the community. This sense of belonging leads to understanding, listening, and collaboration. To create an environment in which to produce locally by involving the local community.
